Crowds out for Festival

18 June 2016

There was a great turnout for the climax of the Grangetown Festival on Saturday.

Two hundred children and parents joined the parade – with a Roald Dahl costume theme – from Courtmead Gardens along to Grange Gardens.

The fete, organised again by Grangetown Community Action, brought a variety of stalls from residents and local organisations. There was also face-painting and play activities. Thanks to everyone for supporting the event!

Weather hit the planned festival picnic while the schools sports day has been re-arranged for 23rd June.
