Deadline for new-look Grangetown News

We’re now looking for contributions for our spring edition of a new-look Grangetown Community News.

Since 1977, the newspaper has been produced three times a year with more than 6,000 copies being distributed in the community.

Content is now added online to our website, as well as our social media pages ( and

We’ve now got a new team of contributors and volunteers who are busy working on some interesting features and content.


But it’s not too late if you have a local news story or would like to tell the community about your organisation or school – the paper is a perfect way of reaching people  

If you are a local business/organisation who would like to advertise to the local community our paper is an ideal place to place an advert.

Our advertising charges are listed below:

1/8 page – £30
1/4 page – £55
1/2 page – £100
1 full page – £180
1 full back page – £200
NEW FOR 2016!
The Grange Community News is still printed 100% in COLOUR, but will be printing in a tabloid newspaper format rather than an A4-size magazine.
This should help present articles in a more readable way – while adverts will be larger than ever.
This is a pilot project which will hopefully allow us to increase readership through spreading more positive, local news stories.
The deadline for submissions is 11th March and we aim to have the paper delivered in early April.
